Hi,

My name is I-Ju from Taiwan. I am also interested in Korean culture, especially in Korean Drama and Food.

Have you ever seen "Full House?" I think that it is exactly a very good drama to watch. Furthermore, I like to see Korean movies.

Also, I like eating Bibinbob very much. Because now Korean Drama is very popular in Taiwan, more and more people start trying Korean food. Therefore, more and more Korean restaurants have been opening in Taipei city. I am lucky that I can just eat Korean food without going abroad.

I have been to Seoul two years before and I really like the thing there. Therefore, if you have time, would you give me more information about Food and Culture in Korea?

Cheers

I-Ju Chen

My mom and my sister are crazy about Korean Movies, TV shows. my sister even started to learn Korean last year by listening tapes, watching Korean movies, reading Korean books! I once asked her:"why do you learn Korean? it isn't useful to your work!" she answered:"but it makes me happy! I just love it, without reason!" Very Happy

yep~
I think the best way to improve language skills and to progress is having motivation all the time.
The same as to your sister, I also went to learn Korean in a language center. Similar to your question, I really don't know why I want to learn this language if you're talking about the usage, but learning Korean really make me happy!!!
The only thing I can promote learning Korean is that you can travel around Korea without any boudaries! I believe the people there will treat you like family when you are a foreigner who speaks their language.
cheers
