air lock is not an entrance...
the bag is airlocked (sealed) so that the bread does not get moldy or so water cannot get in and make the sandwich wet.
the airlock door on the airplane has been closed before take off.
(it has been sealed)
...the air has been locked in or out.

That word was said by BuzzLightyear when he assumed the "automatic entrance" was the airlock to his spaceship.
