Not necessarily. It just means that the weather is what you would expect during a normal summer, and people are doing what they usually do during the summer (all Springtime activities are finished). |

basically, yes. it usually means about in the middle of the summer time...crops and gardens are growing, people have been mowing their yards for weeks by that time, most children are out of school for the summer...
