It might be only for the written word, but one can sure pick up more than a few things by learning the words a offered and of course - payin attention to the grammar and spelling corrections. |

If you want to improve your written English it is best to get advice from a native speaker on the mistakes that you are making. Do not be afraid of making mistakes in your English, as long as you are learning from them and ensuring that you do not make the same mistakes again. There are many people on this site who would be able to help you with your written English.

[color=red]I recommend going to an English speaking country for a year, would be an ideal way of improving your English.
Many schools offer exchanges with students who wish to come for one year.
Also you can get your fees reduced too. Now most will not offer any scholarships, if you ask you will be disappointed.
Now if you wish to study in the US for a degree most schools ask for an English test (either TOEFL, TOEIC or IELTS) some schools even accept EIKAN.
You will live on campus and get to interact with American university students and have fun with other international students.
I work in the admissions office of my university and I get to answer these questions on a daily basis.
Good luck with your English studies!

Hello Antsa.....!!!!!
I'm a student from Malaysia and currently doing English as my major course. Here i`ve some ideas and tips on how to improve your English.First of all, you need to read a lot.READ........READ.......and READ...try to read whatever reading materials in English i.e newspaper, magazines, novels....It will assist you in dicovering new phrases....and of course you will ne improving in grammar as well.In order to improve your speaking skill you need to converse in English more frequently with your friends who can speak fluently.Do not shy if you speak wrongly.Do not bother what other people say if you can`t speak good English...The most important thing is you need to learn.Other than that, of course you will have to do more exercises in terms of language and vocabulary....Try to watch more English programmes through television and listen to more English programmes!!!!
Good Luck !!!! |
