Loy Krathong festival is one of the most beautiful and popular festivals of Thailand. It is the old Thai culture. Thai people should conserve this festivals for 3 reasons. First, Loy Krathong is the old Thailand festival. This festival started since Sukho Thai period. This day is base on a Hindu tradition of thinking the water god for the water.Second, there are many values of this festival for people. Another people made Krathong and float it in the river with their family. Many people come to float their Krathong on the cannal or river to thank the mother of water , push it away onto the water and prayed. Finally, Loy Krathong festival makes unity in the group of villager. In Loy Krathong Day the villager will come to the temple which is the center point of villager to put food in the bowls of Buddhist priests in the morning. There are Loy Krathong parades that villagers do it together. In brief, Loy Krathong is a good festival for Thai society. We will begin to take good things into lives because we push bad things away to the water. What do you think about it ?
