well, that would be the polite way to say it, and i'm no expert on spongebob squarepants, but **beep** usuall means that a curse word of your choosing is inserted where the beep is located. iitimone7

C o c k e d means raised over his head ready to catch whatever he is trying to catch. It is a perfectly innocuous use of the word.
A gun is c o c k e d when the hammer, if it has one, is raised and it is ready to fire.
C o c k is also slang for p e n i s, and all these words obviously excite Dave's
policing programme.
So to catch the odd vulgar usage, every legitimate use of the word has to be spaced out to get past the word police.
It is nonsense.
