In the 1960s, peace signs, long hair, *work shirts*, and blue jeans were part of the iconography of rebellion.
like "overalls"?

Yes in that they are made of heavy-duty material. Usually there are two pockets, one on each side, and the pockets have flaps. They are used by construction workers, for example, and were used by a lot of hippies in the late sixties and early seventies. |
