Guys, I niticed that there are two forums which are repetitive on the board. I mean help center and learning English.

Do you think the two forums should be united?

I say no because in this case there's the learning english forum in which also other students can give help, and in the help forum there are mainly esl teachers who help. besides you can ask other things than vocab or grammar problems in the help forum.
and the EL forum has always many new messages a day so the old can be over-read quickly. so I think it's okay like it is Wink

greets Very Happy

stellara, you mean, we can learn English by discussing on the forum learning english, and we can always receive correct answers and explanations on help center? hmmm. maybe that's a good point.

I also voted for no.

My point is that the help forum is rather not a forum about helping someone in english, but a forum for administrative settings concerning the structural well-being of this froum, how to simplify the ordinary "life" here.

And the forum "learning english" is a place where we ask our daily questions about the english language. These questions are posted very often, so that the adminstrators won't be able to answer every of them. So, here we users should be of help.

These are two different plots, so, we need two different threads for it.

Otherwise we could also put together Opinions and Making friends, and Culture, or, finally, we could put together all threads, which will be a catastrophe.

Mr. Green So, sorry, 大姐, but it seems to be not very good, especially when we just have reached a help forum.

it's ok. Wink

For example, if you wanna argue with your english teacher about some English problem, you can first post your question on help center, you know, there you can receive the correct answer, then you will be able to make sure you are gonna win! and if you wanna learn English by discussing with any members, you can go to learning english.
