Hey Community,

has anyone seen the movie Revolver by Guy Ritchie?

I hate to disappoint those of you who believe Revolver is another Lock, Stock .. or Snatch but the film is not worth a second of any of these two.

Revolver is about life, death, existence, truth, genuine knowledge, money (in the scope of life preferences), ... even love.

A perfect philosophy.

I promise to provide you with quotes soon.

I have been waiting for this for a while, I'm really intrested in what Ritchie does next, will he be a one trick pony, or can he come back with the goods.
I think possibly the success of " Layer Cake " have forced Ritchie to do a rethink, he was supposed to direct Layer Cake, and I think the fact that Mathew Vaughn got rid of the humour for a more serious gangster flick might have influenced him some way towards his direction of Revolver.

Will catch it this weekend and let you know what I thought.

I guess I have to clear up my thoughts... I mean "Revolver" is muuuuuuuuuuch more valuable piece of cinematography than Ritchie's previous works.

Yup, the film is totally different from everything Ritchie did before. It is much deeper and contains phylosophical thoughts about good and bad. I would even call his views as buddhist, though we know he's follower of kabbalah faith Wink Probably all religions are similar in something very important Wink)
