Weird... I thought it was forbidden to mention personal details in a forum like this one.

Anyway, to answer emmayang's question, you'd better get yourself a good Italian phrasebook because in some places people don't speak any English. I went to Venice and Rome in May and I sometimes had a hard time to communicate with Italian people. I remember when I was in a supermarket trying to order salami lol, the butcher didn't speak any English. So, I pointed out a log of salami. Actually what I was ordering was a fake log of salami (a decoration made of wood) and the butcher was trying to explain to me that it wasn't eatable. It was so funny when I realized what I tried to order Mr. Green Finally, I decided to buy pancetta LOL Razz

Italy is a good place to visit~~ Very Happy
the sight, the weather and the people there are so nice!! Shocked
but, by the way, be carefull when you're walking on the street,
because the rubber is everywhere Sad
