Weird... I thought it was forbidden to mention personal details in a forum like this one.
Anyway, to answer emmayang's question, you'd better get yourself a good Italian phrasebook because in some places people don't speak any English. I went to Venice and Rome in May and I sometimes had a hard time to communicate with Italian people. I remember when I was in a supermarket trying to order salami lol, the butcher didn't speak any English. So, I pointed out a log of salami. Actually what I was ordering was a fake log of salami (a decoration made of wood) and the butcher was trying to explain to me that it wasn't eatable. It was so funny when I realized what I tried to order Finally, I decided to buy pancetta LOL |

Italy is a good place to visit~~ 
the sight, the weather and the people there are so nice!! 
but, by the way, be carefull when you're walking on the street,
because the rubber is everywhere  |
