Dear teachers,
I encountered a sentence " a man can land on his hand." Yes, each of the individual words are easy, but honestly, I don't understand what it means. Would you please give me some help?

The only think close I have ever heard is to land on one's feet. This is used to express the idea taht a person can take hard times and still remain standing to fight another day.
Hope that helps - Kristi _________________ "That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much." R.L. Stevenson |
