Although you could say "haven't yet been discovered..." too |

...msdd - your sentence is correct. if you use haven't yet, it's almost like using a double negative. we don't use double negatives in english...or we souldn't -it is not grammatically correct.
example - i don't not go there every saturday.
which gramatically means...i do not not go there every saturday.
(it doesn't make any sense!)
what the sentence literally means...i (do) go there every saturday.
