Serving size is how much you eat at one time. Servings per container is how many serving sizes fit in the container. If you read the food labels (The U.S. has labels on all packaged foods--not sure about other places) you can see how much you can eat to get the calories, fat, vitamins, etc. listed on the label.
For example:
A package has 30 crackers in it. The serving size is 3 crackers. Therefore there are 10 servings in the package. |
