Are you asking and answering your own questions on purpose... or am I missing something there?

There are four ways of using the word tease.

1 a tease is someone who says something to you in order to have fun by embarrassing or annoying you slightly in a friendly or unkind way:
He's just a tease. Ignore him.

2 a tease is something that someone says or does when they are teasing you.
He told me I was very beautiful but that was only a tease.

3, a tease can be someone who makes you think that they are willing to have sex with you when they are not.
Jenny is such a tease, She is always giving me the come-on but she doesnt mean it.

4. A tease is often used in retailing or in the entertainment industry. It is something that is designed to make people interested in an event that will happen or in a product that will become available later.
Release rumours about the problems about her marriage. It will act as a tease for her next film which is due out next month.

I hope this helps.
