That said, there may be others who would argue that "I am never tired" is passive, its active counterpart being "Nothing ever tires me".
What does the phrase 'that said' mean?

"That said" refers to whatever was explained before this sentence. (Now that I have already explained all that, I can also say that there may be others....) |

It's also a short form for this idea: 'Now that THAT has been SAID...'
It connects to a previous statement, and indicates that a contradictory statement is to follow. |
