It is an uncountable noun. If I have many pieces of new equipment, I say:
"The equipment are new."
"The equipments are new" is wrong.
Am I right?
Thanks.

You would say, "The equipment is new." because you can't use "are" if it's uncountable. It is the same with "furniture." |
