Dear teachers.
I learned these sentences below are all wrong.
But I don't know why they are wrong.
1. Most people cannot understand which is the XXrobot.
2. Most people never heard what the XX robot is.
3. Most people do not know which the XX robot is.
I need your help.
Sincerely,
Iwana |

hmm, i'd say:
1. Most people cannot understand which is the XX robot.
--> Most people cannot understand which one is the XX robot
2. Most people never heard what the XX robot is.
--> Most people have never heard what the XX robot is. (in combination with the word never you have to use the present perfect)
3. Most people do not know which the XX robot is.
--> Most people don't know which one is the XX robot.
didn't you get a correction of these sentences?

"which one" is generally used when we have to chose one thing out of group of things. If most people simply do not know about XX robot, the sentence "Most people do not know what XX robot is" and "Most people cannot understand what XX robot is" are more appropriate _________________ I work here --> Research Writing Help |
