sophie...i don't usually visit this page, but no one ever answered your question!
a resume' (re-zoom-ay) is a list of the places that you previously worked with the address of the company and the the things that you did while you were there (example...if you're a cashier at a store, or a cmputer graphics designer)
a cover letter is a letter that you attach to the front of your resume' when you are applying for a particular job. in the letter, you talk about the job that you are applying for and the qualities that you have to offer the company that you are the best person for that job.
