Hello,
How can "a trick question" be explained? I checked in dictionaries to find it, but without any success. I tried two idiom books I have, but that didn't help either. I guess my best bet is the help of a native speaker... which is why I am writing here! |

A close relation to the riddle is the trick question, which can be used to humiliate the answerer. They generally either have no good answer at all, or have a number of natural answers of which one or more can under closer scrutiny be ridiculed. _________________ If a man constantly aspires is he not elevated?
