What does "it's very kind of you" mean? Does it mean "thank you"? How about "kindly notify me"..does "kindly" mean "please"? If so..by saying "Please kindly advise" is repetitive right cuz both kindly and please mean the same thing?

"It's very kind fo you" means "it is nice of you."

"Kindy notify me..." does imply "please" however...

"Please kindly advise" would not in my opinion be repetitive. It would be slanted and overly formal. Not natural to me.

Hope this helps - Kristi
