There are a lot of different kinds of English. I agree with iitimone7 if you are speaking American English. However, "learnt" is also acceptable according to the dictionary. I think it may be used in British English.

As for the question, were you looking for some riddles, vngirl? If so, I have one riddle. I'll explain it afterwards. The riddle goes like this:

When is a door not a door?

When it's ajar.

[Explanation: If a door is open a little, we can say it's ajar (one word). The word "jar" also is a container, for example, a jar of mayonnaise, or peanut butter, or jelly. So, when you say the answer to the riddle, it sounds the same as "When it's a jar," but of course, a door can't be a jar.]

You are in a cold house in the winter. It is dark. You have one match. There is a candle and there is a wood burning stove. Which do you light first?

You are missing a line!
It's from a riddle that rhymes:
Brothers and sisters have I none,
But this man's father is my father's son.

legs:
there are 6 men --> 6x2 = 12 legs
there are 6 baskets (no legs) with 6 cats --> 6x6x4 = 144 legs
there are 6x6x6 kitten with 4 legs --> 6x6x6x4 = 864 legs
--> 12+144+864 = 1020 legs ?!? wow, that's much Wink

Quote:

it's me?! ("this man" is my son then?!)

hmm.. i know this number's riddle but i forgot how it can be solved Rolling Eyes but i came this far (you mustn't think mathematically Wink )

each line describes the previous line, the first line has one 1 --> 11 in the second line. the second line has two 1 --> 21 in the third line.

1 --> one 1 (for the next line)
11 --> two 1 (")
21 --> one two and two 1
1211 --> one 1, one 2, two 1
111221 --> same pattern
312211
13112221 --> one 1 one 3 two 1 three 2 one 1
--> next line has to be: 1113213211

hope this is right.. Very Happy
greets
