Recently there's a culprit who conducted the raping offence for over 30 times in the neighborhood of his schooling campus before and was sentenced inprisonment for 17 years but was lately released on bail out of his good deeds during his first 7 years in jail. as he studied hard in the jail, he passed the joint colloge entrance exam this year and was finally able to enter the top school of the country after several times of judicial patetions.
this September, he is about to go to his dream campus. And there are lots of pros and cons for and against the jurisprudence's decision and there's also a great turmoil of debate among the school students about this man's plans. are u with this man or against him??? is he a totally changed person or is he hatching something? _________________ we prepare for the best and conquer the worst. |

This news is widely reported and discussed in mass media recently. Although many people are against the jural decision for the rapist, I reckon the rapist had been punished and paid a deserved price for his irregular behavior. All men are equal before the law. If the culprit comforms to the entrance standard of the university he wishes, he should have the right to study in it. The substitute program should be brought up by the government instead of simply prohibiting the culprit from studying in the university, and that's what our government should do! |

well, it's my prejudice, i think it is not only the problem but the crux for all our jurisdiction system, why a man of this kind always has the chance to commit a crime and sent into jail and later regains his freedom and maybe later falls behind his former deed again and our justice always gives a chance.
personally, i'm entirely on the side against this man. maybe he's right and corrected and under the "fair" regulations or "justice" laws of the constitution, certainly he enjoys all the rights as an individual, but here i'd like to call for the morals wake. how about those girls, those victims? maybe i'm just being sentimental, but as i think of them, how they're gonna continue to deal with the rest of thier life, how they are gonna get carrying out to face the world, their friends, their momery? it seems like soul-killing whoever suffers from this painful, lingering, and life-long agony.
he wants to go study! he doesn't want to cause any eternal harm!? remember the SARS suspects who are necessary to undergo a 10-day home quarantine, or maybe longer? why they need to? they are suspected, but who can tell if u can't get any scientific or medical evidence? _________________ we prepare for the best and conquer the worst. |
