I've just read a topic about Spanish celebration of New Year's Eve. It'so funny. "When it is midnight, each time the clock chimes, they put a grape in their mouth. By the time the clock has finished chiming, everybody has to have finished their grapes and the New Year starts, but nobody finishes eating the grapes on time."
When it midnight [in russia] we drink a shampane [white wine with bubbles =)] and make a best wishes to each other.
It's so interesting to know something about cultures of other countries!!! I'm here just one month but I'll definitely celebration New Year's day here... And I even don't know, what I'll be doing here... without snow...
It's so strange to meet a New Years day without snow, warm clothes and skiing on my snowboard =) But, I hope, everything will be ok! Becouse I'm not alone and my new friends'll help me. So, happy New Year =))) |
