Hey Prose One, you won't be able to get a job legally in Korea, Japan, or Taiwan (and technically China). You could do it illegally in Taiwan, but I wouldn't suggest Korea or Japan. They just had large crackdowns. I knew of some people who taught legally in China though without a BA. I really think that is your best bet to be honest. I don't know your situation so I won't judge, but is it possible to get your BA before? |

It is possible, but id rather not wait the 4 years, I'm basically looking for something to do until 2009 rolls around, which is when I can get the career that I'd like.
Looks like China's my only option then.
Is it a good idea to go through a recruiter? and if so can anyone recommend a few good ones? |

You can work, wothout a BA, as an English Teacher in China.
YOu can work in Some countries with ONLY a Celta certificate, which is awarded by Cambridge University,
I worked in China, at a bad job, returned and studied Celta in Sydney Australia, cost $2000, got a job in a chinese University, and they didnt even care that I had it.
