Hello, everyone. My name is Satomi Asada. I'm a Tokuyama
Women's Collegestudent in Japan.
I talked with my friends about marriage. Boys don't want to
get married early very much. Girls want to get married early. I don't
want to get married early very much. I found that boys and girls
have different views on the matter.
Now, I'm investigating about man and woman's concept of
marriage. I want to hear and see your various opinions. Please

What do you think?
I think men tend to view marriage more as what can each partner provide for each other. While women tend to have a more sharing/intimate view of marriage where each person grows together.

To support each other well. And you must be faithful to your
partner and your partner must be faithful to you. Share the same values. For example, I believe that family is the most valuable thing in life.

I don't really care about money....I'm the guy, I'm the one who is supposed to be earning money. Appearance...well, usually I would not even make a girl friend if I was not first attracted to her before I know her, and I'm usually attracted to pretty girls
Character is the most important to me...I want a girl that is the same religion as me, (I'm a Christian) one who is very nice and admirable. One of the most important parts to me is respect though...please don't misunderstand me, I don't want her to be like a slave to me....I just don't want a girl who will be very annoying. I will love her no matter what she is like, but I will make a girl that respects me as happy as I can.

Age is not the biggest problem for me...I want to get married right now, ha ha ha! However, I know that I should not get married until I have a good job, and enough money to buy a house and have a family.
I will probably not get married until I am 22 or 23...I hope.

The average man does not look forward to it...and the average woman dreams about it....but there are always some people from each sex that are different....like me ^^

mostly I agree with the others above but the mst imortant thing for me getting married is that my partner has to love me as I am - without any conditions. that doesn't mean that he has to do anything for me and shouldn't say no to me but he mustn't say "I love you if you.. whatever, not getting a job or sth..". and he have to respect me and my opinions (he don't have to share them, only respect them!)

I don't commit on a certain age. If I found a partner who I'd like to marry then it will be.

I do think that boys and girls have different views about marriage. evidently women think lots more at marriage than men do. I really don't know why.. maybe because women are more family focused, and I recently heard that men aren't keen on marrying because they think then they are bound to their wife and can't look for other pretty women.. but that's only theory - so don't lynch me - and surely not every man does think in that way!

For me like others who have tasted the pangs given by reality, of course hope to find a soul mate that fits the condition I make. Who is rich or has good appearance or anything nice that may be rarity surely is considered first. That is human�s natural vanity AH HA.

Marriage

Different people have different ideas and opinions about marriage. Marriage is the one of a most important decision that you take in your life. Some people want to marry early age and some people don't. People in this world marry because of many reasons, not only to have kids.
