I'm so~~ lucky to meet Dave's Cafe.
I'm really appreciate the people(Asterix, Bud) who have answered my English questions. I have studied English grammar book for TOEFL which has no answer sheets. Hard and Tough Job! If you give me a lot of help and cheer, I will make a much more effort than ever before. Thanks everyone, be happy.
what's wrong in the following sentences?
1.The jointed stems of knotgrass lie against flat the ground.
2.Most educators today consider computer literacy being a necessary addition to the basic scholastic.
3.During the early years of the United States, the raft played an important role in moving goods and traders on such rivers the Ohio and the Mississippi.
4.In 1883 Mary Man prepared for publication the memories of the Piute leader Sarah Winnemucca of whom work Mann had admired throught her life.
5.The age of geological sample can be estimated from the ratio of radiocative to nonradioactive carbon present in the object is examined.
6.Coal and petrolum resulted when plants become buried in swamps and decayed.
7.The prime rate is the rate from which banks lend money to their best customers.
8.Acute hearing assists most animals in sensing the approach of earthquakes along before people do.
9.The first practical investigation into atomic energy was made as part of attempt to explain the source of solar power.
10.Because oak trees are highly resistant of storm damage, they usually live a long time.

Please note that, although memories will work here, I believe you mean memoirs.

Make sure your tenses are consistent. You can also use the present tense - result, become, and decay - if you like.
