Dear Teachers,

What do you do in your free/spare time?

- I give my dog a wash / I wash my dog / I bath my dog.
- I read comic strip / strip cartoon / I read a comic/ I read comics.
- I write in my diary / I write my diary.
- I take my dogs out for a walk.
- I watch my old photos / old pictures again.
- I go to the bookstore/bookshop.
- I help my dad / daddy to pull grass in the garden.
- I iron my clothes / clothing in case theres no power / no electricity.

- Are the sentences above natural?

- Thanks a lot.

I'll just paste the natural ones.

1. I wash my dog or I bathe my dog. (Both are natural)
2. I read comics.
3. I write in my diary.
4. I take my dogs out for a walk.
5. Neither of these was correct. (In English, we "look at" photographs, not watch photos.)
6. I go to the bookstore.
7. I help my dad pull weeds in the garden.
8. I iron my clothes / clothing in case there’s no power / no electricity. (This is natural no matter which of either one you choose.
