Hi, there.

Look at the following sentences.

1. We started exchanging emails with a school in America.
2. We started exchanging email with a school in America.

Is the word 'email' countable or uncountable?

Would please tell me the answer?

Sleeper -

After some thought, we think it is a non-count noun. (This does not mean "emails" isn't used.) But in writing I would stick with just "email."

After all, you wouldn't say, "I recieved mails today" after going to your mailbox.
