Is the following sentence grammatically correct? Usually I gess "You leave New York." is said. Is "from" OK?

Although it is a slightly awkward sentence, it is correct. It is natural, as well, so long as it's used in the proper context. I'll give you an example:
"Am I leaving from New York or Boston?
You leave from New York." |
