Yes - I've never heard it called anything else, although it is sometimes abbreviated to 'four-poster'.

The hotel was beautiful and we slept in a wonderful four-poster.

One thing I'm not sure about is if 'four-poster' should be hyphenated or not. Maybe someone can help there?

I don't know either, but I'd guess that the hyphen is needed.

Thanks for the info.

I think either preposition works ok. "To google" is now a verb, at least informally, so you could also say, "I've just googled it and..."
