Hello everyone.
Sentence #1 below is a translation that I made from a single, isolated sentence in Japanese.
1. Many of the sports that are played all over the world today originated in England.
Sentence #2 below is another translation that I have made from the same sentence.
2. Many of the sports played all over the world today ( come/ came ) from England.
Which, come or came, is more natural for the blank of Sentence #2 above?
Best regards,

FW -
"Came" is correct as it is the past tense verb, and your sentence is past tense.
Hope that helps - Kristi _________________ "That man is a success who has lived well, laughed often and loved much." R.L. Stevenson |
