Chinese are* bowled over* by ancient noodles find

bowl over

transitive verb

Definitions:

1. astonish somebody: to amaze or delight somebody ( often used in the passive )

2. knock something or somebody down accidentally: to knock something or somebody down, especially accidentally during a headlong rush

Does any meaning fit in the sentence?

Thanks

#1 would be the meaning of that sentence in my opinion. Definitely not #2.

The Chinese were "amazed, astonished" by the ancient noodle find.
