Hi guys,

One of my favourite movies is the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
What do you think about that?

In general, I like literature adapted for the screen. I love 19th c. British literature and such movies as "Pride and Prejudice" (the 1995 version with Colin Firth and Jenifer Ehle).

Lately, I have also been watching some Bollywood movies and I do like them too. Well, you might think I have a weird taste, but actually it's just varied which I consider isn't a bad thing.

I don't like horror films, science fiction or cheap action movies.

What about you?

Hi, everybody!
I like movies, you can call me a movie-goer. There are so many movies I like to see. Among them, The Lord of the Ring Trilogy impressed me most. I especially love the special effect in this movie. Although many friends of my said that the special effect in the last one is the best, but for two reasons I like the first one.
First, I went to see the first one at a very specially time. In our neighborhood, the first play started at December 24,. And guess what, one of my friend and I went to see the movie just on this day at 11:30 pm. We were the first two guys among our friends who saw the movie.
Second, the reason is much more simple, beause the first one is always the most impressed one.
Besides, I also like science fiction and etc. very much.
With movies, I can experence things that would happen to me, such as fly in the sky. That why I love to watch movie.

Hi Ramsey,

Well, I wouldn't call The Lord of the Rings trilogy science fiction. The actual genre is called "fantasy".
Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be nitpicking, but there were many people who didn't want to watch LotR because they said they didn't like science fiction. I don't like science fiction either, I haven't watched any of the Star Wars films, for example.
But I love LotR and I couldn't say which one of the three is the best.
And yes, I agree with you, watching such movies is like escaping or entering into another world and you can let your imagination run wild.
