I am trying to figure out some regularities in the English irregular verbs.
Any suggestions would be welcome. |

"do did done" and "go went gone" (different words)
"fly flew flown" and "show shew shown" (different vocals)
"tell told told" and "hold held held" (the same in past and progressive)
"kill, killed, killed" and "fill, filled, filled" (same word with ed in past and progressive)
and so on, I think it isn't worth the time to figure it out. _________________ If I say "I love you" to someone, then I also have to say "I love inside you everyone else. I love the whole world because of you. I also love myself inside you" |

Careful with this. . .if you try to make too many patterns, you might make mistakes.
fight > faught // light > lit
teach > taught // preach > preached.
Unfortunately, words having similar sounds or spellings do not always have the same irregularities. |
