i was stationd on a aircraft carrier and allot of the ports we visited like sasebo,hong kong,austrailia,vancouver singapore there were people who loved us and hated us. Question

When I lived in Gibraltar, the people there were delighted to see any US navy ship because of the money they brought with them.
For the most part they were well-behaved and just out to have some fun.
There will always be those who, for political reasons, say they hate the USA, but I notice they don't hate the USA's money.

Doesn't it all depend on the country? In the countries which are involved in a war with US, either economic or political, there's usually a feeling of hate that grows stronger every day. Such pure hatred can be explained in only one way - the leaders of those countries use the propaganda to spread the stereotypes about US, upon their citizens! Some of the people consider US army to be an irony of the Peace Corps... Arrow
