Hello everyone.
I understand "I wish you a Happy New Year" is a greeting that you use before New Years Day comes.
Is Happy New Year!, on the other hand, a greeting that you can use even after New Years Day, say one or two weeks into a new year, when you see someone you know for the first time in the year?
Best wishes,
