Hello, teachers.
"He is going to play in the game next month."
Is it acceptable to change "the game next month" into
1. the next month's game
2. the next-month game
3. the next month game
4. the game in next month ?
With regards,

If you are talking about the month that is coming after the one in which you are speaking, I would use "next month's game" without the "the". If, however, you were talking about the future and a different "next month" I could see the "the". For example:
John hurt his knee and won't be able to play in next month's game; however, his knee should be better in time for the next month's game. (That would be the month after the next one.) |
