The exact location of is at Latitude 23 o26�21.448� North, or 23.5 degrees. How do you convert 26 minutes into .5 degrees?

60 minutes = 1 degree
30 minutes - 0.5 degrees
60 seconds = 1 minute

It's an approximation.
