Apart from adolescents, young learners, young students, what else could be closely in meaning to teenagers or teenage students?

| You could call them middle schoolers or high schoolers, depending on what grade they're in. |

| I think in Germany they call them Halbstarke which I think means "half strengths." |

| Youths, juveniles, teens --these are a few others that I can think of..."juveniles" is usually used by police/law enforcement, as in "the driver of the stolen car was a juvenile." |
