hello evryone,
iam getting confused when using simple past tense & present perfect tense.do i have to say
1. "she just ate two apples" or
"she just has eaten two apples"
2."i didn't come yesterday" or
" i haven't come yesterday"
pls correct me when to use those?
which is correct? |

She just ate two apples. (I expected her to eat more)
She's just eaten two apples. (She finished eating a short time ago)
'I didn't come yesterday.' is the correct sentence from the last two examples.

| Present perfect generally isn't used with words that indicate an exact time, like yesterday, last month, last year. |
