cliff�hang�er (N) ending left teasingly unresolved: an unresolved ending in a part of a serialized drama or book that leaves the audience or reader eager to know what will happen next can that word be used as a verb? Thanks

I've never seen it used as a verb, and I think it would sound terribly clumsy.
