attitude with a capital a = Attitude

It is a way to say that she has an attitude to an extreme degree. You could think of it as turning a common noun into a proper noun, something that has more prominence. The phrase is a general phrase, usuable with many things besides "attitude."

He has money with a capital m! = He has a lot of money!

thanks bud for your explanations. now I got it. I remeber I once read a novel in which the author wrote:"he has a power with a capital P." then from your explanations, that means he is very powerful.

Thanks, Red!

Yes, you are correct if it was, "He has power..." (no article) If it was, "He has a power..." it means that he had some particular power that was very strong (ex., x-ray vision, a sixth sense, etc.).

The "special capitalization" can be used as an insult as well, as in "she's a b*tch with a capital B."
