I wonder what "medial documentation" means below...

" This marketing research approach includes the observation of customer behaviour (supported by medial documentation)."

It don't seem a type of "medical documentation" as this article has nothing to do with medicine.

It's possible that there was a typo and that the writer meant "media."

"This marketing research approach includes the observation of customer behaviour (supported by media documentation)."

Marketing research sometimes includes research material from media sources.
