Hello everyone.
If I had to rewrite sentence (A) into sentence (B), which would be appropriate for the blank below , #1 or #2? Or neither is?
(A) Could you make a reservation for a room at a Japanese-style inn?
(B) Could you make a reservation ( )?
1. for a Japanese-style inn
2. at a Japanese-style inn

Hi fw,
Number 2. But, it sounds a little incomplete. You might write:
Could you make a reservation for us at a Japanese-style inn? Or,
Could you reserve a room for us at a Japanese-style inn?
