Hello,
What does "felt grippy" mean in the following context?
"How was the movie?" my mother asked.
"Excellent. Except Alice's mother. She kept leaning over and asked her if she felt grippy during the entire movie. We took a taxi home."
Thanks. |

I only have one idea, and I don't know if it is correct:
"The grip" is old slang for "the flu." Maybe Alice's mother was coming down with the flu. |
