Something for beginner and advanced dancer's alike, that *levels the playing field*, and allows people to absolutely launch their dancing into the next level.

COuld anyone explain that?

In your example...."beginner and advanced dancers".....the advanced

dancers would have an advantage (more experience/ expertise)

the beginners would be disadvantaged.....

so, ........to "level the playing field"...means to make them the same.....

no advantage..........have an equal chance/opportunity
