Hello!

I love ice hockey. This year is great cause except from Ice Hockey World Championship in Latvia where will take a place amazing sport spectacle, theres also another one ice hockey show - in Torino.

Im from Slovakia so Im a fan of Slovak national team and I wish good luck to our hockey players. Im happy that for now we have a success.
Also I wish good luck to other national teams.

Is here anyone interested in ice hockey too? I want to discuss about actual hockey matches. (If you dont care about my not very good English).

I hope to hear from you soon. Best wishes...

Well I lived in Canada for some 20 years (originaly from Ireland) so i've developed quite the taste for hockey you could say, as I played for many years and even did some coaching.

I always look forward to the Olympics, especially Hockey. Canada just got rocked (beat really badly) by the Swiss, 2-0. In all honesty though, good for the Swiss. It is the first time they have ever beaten the Canadians in the Olympics. This is a big day for them, and for International Hockey in general. It's not everyday a top team gets beaten by an underdog, and I hope it means that all the nations are coming closer together in terms of ability to compete.

Thanks for your reply.

It was suprised that Canada lost the match with Swiss but on the other side I was delighted because it means that if Slovakia play with Canada, we can win.

Now Im very nervous because in a few minutes well play with Sweden. Total score is (Slovakia : Sweden) 43:72, from 23 matches we lost 16!

Its possible that Slovakia and Canada will play a match during this Olympic Games. Itll be very interesting fight....

I was very disappointed yesterday. After so a fantastic match with Sweden when we won 3:0, we lost 3:1 with Czech republic. It was really sad cause Czechs were sure that theyll lose and well win but our team was really absolutely horrible. Im glad that Czechs won cause it was meritable victory. And Im happy cause we lost with Czechs so fight continues and I wish them good luck...
