When I was young the adults who around me always said that it is useless to become pretty, the beauty inside is more important than everything you have got. However when I grow up I realized that what they told me is not true, they lie to me. Out looking is very important especially for girls! Beauties always get more help from men than the one who is fat or ugly. So the pretty ones always adapt to different environments very quickly, because they are the popular wherever they go, people are more like to help good looking ones than ugly ones.

It is true that beauty is an instant attraction, but after the initial flash of lightning, if there is no thunder, I am disappointed.
Eventually, what counts is the personality, and indeed, the inner beauty of the person.

When asked, everyone replies "oh of course outlook is not important, what matters is the character and the personality." But in practice, especially when picking our valentines, we act according to the outlook of the other person. And sometimes even the outlook is not sufficient, we act according to their "wallets" (well I say "we" but I've never done such a thing actually, I've never had a valentine Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy So I'm innocent hahaha)

All we can do is try not to care about such people. I know it's hard, I know it's tough to be mistreated because of your outlook, but...I mean I have been rejected by a girl just because "I was not her type" but that doesn't bother me the least. If someone rejects me as a friend or a valentine just because of my outlook...well that's her/his loss more than mine. I'd rather not be friends/valentines with such a person anyway.

This is not to say outlook should definitely br ignored. Honestly, I myself would have been a little picky if I ever wanted to have a girlfriend. And I think it is normal to be "just a little" picky cos after all if you don't have that physical chemistry you can not keep up a relationship. However, even then we should not act solely upon the outlook, outlook should not be more important than character. They both should be equally important I believe.

In the long run, it's the inner person that makes difference. However, when meeting new people the way you look is very important. I rather like pretty girls to help me in the supermarket for instance, until I come there every day and then I see that the ugly girl behind her works twice as fast. I cannot deny that I judge on how people look and I think at least 95% does, although only 20% would admit it.

Laughing Laughing you're right! out-looking is very very important. but you know out-standing is still more important. maybe, you're not good-looking, you're not pretty but you even can be out-standing Wink . if you have a beautiful soul, you learn well, if you have a nice personality, I bet thousands of guy will pay much attention to you!
good luck Wink
