Is " so far" suitable in the above sentence?

No not really. If you added in "so far" it sounds rude, and implies that he is going to have to leave soon.

Keep it as it is, "Oh,I see. You have taught nowhere else.

Yes, you can use since. For example:

Oh,I see. You have taught nowhere else since you graduated.
