In China, I know Tsinghua and Peking university are the top two universities, most of the students in China want to enter these two . However, they have to pass the examination. It is a crucial war between people using pens and papers, usually the top 100 students in a province have the opportunity to get into Tsinghua and Peking. I was not the top 100.
Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, MIT as I know , these are great universities in the world , many universities in Germany are also famous ones. In France, therere lots of small collegeswhich are producing masters and ideologists, one of them is Michel Foucault , he is my soul mentor, he tellsme what is history and what should we really need to focus on.

So could you imagine which is the best one in your heart, let me share your experience.

I have the same opinion as you. But I was so pity to have no chance to enter famous college for my poor marks. I dream to join the Beijing Foreign Language College after I get enough money!!HAHA!!

Thanks for your reply, but i must tell you that Beijing Foreign Language College is really a very small college, you could learn much, but you also could not learn too much. when i was in Beijing , my university was a very small one , most of my classmates focused on one or two aspects, after 4 years , we all lost much.Multiversity would be a better choice in my opinion, however , you must choose your own way by yourself .

SO,come on , guys, tomorrow will be more beautiful for us if we believe.

I think because those kind of universities have some accompplishment in certain area and are very hard to enroll in, them become famous. When they become famous, they have the ability to promot their facility, instrument and staff, so that they can gain more accomplishment.
Do you think my logic is right?

u r right . We need masters , good teachers , also money and tall buildings are eagerly needed.Good environment could attract many poeple, many genius, then genius could make masterpiece, wonderful work.
however, that is not all . in our 1960s, we created A-bomb,rokets,h-bomb in poor conditions with the threat of America and Russia.
the only thing i want to say is that 'there is always another posibility ', which i learned from a famous professor "秦晖 who worked in Tsinghua university.
i love the colleges in France, really fantastic.
